Purchasing and Privacy

Terms and Conditions:

The following purchase and privacy policy explains how sales transactions, shipping and returns are handled, and how your information is collected, protected and used.  Please be sure to read and agree to the following policies when making a purchase.  Lorakdesigns.com reserves the right to make changes to these policies at any time.

HANDMADE: Everything sold on Lorakdesigns.com is designed by Anna Lorich and is made by hand.  We work hard to ensure that the quality of everything we sell is up to our strict standards.  Due to the handmade nature of the Lorak Designs collections, natural variations and subtle differences in our pieces will occur from order to order.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY: Lorakdesigns.com carefully packages and ships all items via UPS Ground.  All orders will be fully insured and shipped after payment approval and order processing.  This usually occurs within 2-3 business days.  As soon as the order is shipped, an email is sent to you with the ship date and tracking number.  If an item is listed as out of stock and you are unable to add the item to your shopping cart, please contact us to order the item.  If an item is out of stock or a custom fit item (rings), please allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery.  If the product you have purchased is out of stock and is not listed as so on the website, we will notify you by email.

EXCHANGE POLICY: All sales on Lorakdesigns.com are final, and are returnable only for exchange purposes.  Any item returned for an exchange must be unworn and must be in transit to us within 10 days of delivery.  If returning an item for exchange purposes, please include the original packaging, your contact information, and the item number and description of the item you are exchanging for.  Please make sure the return package is carefully packed and insured for the full value of the item.  The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the purchaser.  Any differences in price will be charged to or refunded to the account used to make the initial purchase.  Exchanges under $150.00 will also incur a second shipping charge.

If the item you are exchanging for is not in stock at the time the returned item is received, you will be notified by email or phone.   Please allow 4-6 weeks for the production and shipping of these items.

RING SIZING:  If exchanging a ring for one of a different size, please indicate the size of the original purchase and the size of ring that you are requesting.  If you need assistance in figuring out the proper ring size, please email us at info@lorakdesigns.com and we can send you a complimentary ring sizer.

REPAIRS: If returning an item within 90 days of the initial purchase due to a manufacturing defect, Lorakdesigns.com will be responsible for the shipping and repair costs.  After this 90 day period, Shipping and repair costs will apply.  Please email info@lorakdesigns.com for more information on the issue and estimated repair charges.  Repair work will only be done on items purchased directly from lorakdesigns.com.

ONE OF A KIND ITEMS: If you are interested in an item that is listed as One of a Kind but has already sold or not in your size, please email us at info@lorakdesigns.com for special ordering availability.  Some One of a Kind items may not be available for special order.  Items listed as One of a Kind that are available for special ordering will have variations from the item shown online due to the size and shape availability of the stone used.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom ordering is available for special commissioned pieces.  Designing and manufacturing of special custom orders may take upwards of 6-8 weeks to complete the order.  Please note that Lorak Designs does not make commissioned pieces using your gemstones or reusing your metals.  In the case of engagement rings, a custom designed setting can be made to your specifications, within our designing and manufacturing capabilities.  Custom pieces are priced by materials and labor, and are not returnable.  For more information on custom ordering, please email and questions to: info@lorakdesigns.com

PRIVACY: Lorakdesigns.com may request personal information including your name, shipping address, telephone number, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number, and expiration date.  This information is collected in order to:

• Process an order
• Verify your identity for payment authorization
• Contact you regarding your order status
• Ship your order to you
• Send you sales and promotional notification (if requested)

Once Lorakdesigns.com gathers your name and address, this information will then be used to authorize your credit card and verify your order for fraud prevention.  Lorakdesigns.com will not sell or share your information with any third party company.  Lorakdesigns.com is committed to protecting the our customer’s privacy and personal information.  We accept payments though Pay Pal and with all major credit cards.  We do not store your credit card information.  The information is encrypted via SSL software and sent to a payment gateway for processing.  Only the parties responsible for processing your order have access to your credit card or bank information.
